I love getting to know our 2012 couples. Hearing their story, watching them interact together and working with them before their big day. Engagement shoots are just lots of fun… especially when they don’t go 100% as planned. Ashley and Kyle wanted to go up to the snow for their shoot, so, we decided to go up Mountain Loop Highway, where I’ve heard there is usually snow, especially in December. Well, about twenty-two miles up the road, there is no snow. Anywhere. Well, maybe a little in the coldest shadows… but we still made the best of it, pulled off the side of the road and went exploring. I lovvvvve being away from civilization for a few hours and just enjoying the silence. You don’t realize all the noise around you until you leave it. It’s amazing. And even without snow, their photos turned out beautiful!
